Adding a New User

Technical Tip

If you are using the Micronet Hosted system, you should not setup your users until you have received an email from Micronet detailing each user's network user name and password. You will need to enter the same user names and passwords for Micronet.

To add a new user to Micronet:

Open the User File Update screen.

Refer to "Accessing User IDs".

Select FILE | NEW.

Micronet displays the User File Update screen in Add Mode.

Enter the user details on the following tabs.

Main – general user details – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 1. Main"
User Access details – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 2. User Access"
Mail Setup – user email details – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 3. Mail Setup"
MDS Security – Micronet Distribution System – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 4. MDS Security"
MRF Security – Micronet Roll Forming system – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 5. MRF Security"
POS Security – Micronet Enhanced POS system – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 6. POS Security"
MJC Security – Micronet Job Costing system – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 7. MJC Security"
Extra Security – Micronet General Ledger system – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 8. Extra Security"
Mobile Security – PDA details – refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 9. Mobile Security (v2.7)" or "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 9. Mobile Security (v2.8)".

Select FILE | SAVE.
